There are a few opportunities for enjoying parks in Venice, as most of the gardens are private. The biggest green space is the Giardini Pubblici, where you'll find shaded benches and other benches with views over the Saint Mark's basin.
Just East from the public gardens are the pavillions of the Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition. The extensive grounds with their permanent pavilions built by various countries for their representatives (Biennale Site) are only accessible during the Biennale's exhibitions.
