SIAL Mercosur 2007

SIAL, the most worldwide recognized food and beverage exhibition presents the activities for its 6th SIAL Mercosur Exhibition It will be held - together with the 4th Argentine Supermarketing Meetings ( ASU – Spanish Acronym ) - at “La Rural” fair-ground, in Buenos Aires, from 28 to 30, August, 2007

Considering that  95% of  the Stands are already taken and  that this is the 6th  consecutive SIAL MERCOSUR EXHIBITION, it  emerges as the most important  Food and Beverage Exhibition
SIAL MERCOSUR EXHIBITION 2007 together with the 4th Argentine Supermarketing Meetings organized by ASU ( United Supermarket Association) presents the activities for their 6th exhibition in Argentina. 
“The Meetings being organized, will undoubtedly be the greatest Supermarketing Event  that together with SIAL MERCOSUR EXHIBITION will become the most important Latin American Food (and Beverage)  Exhibition” said Mr. Alfredo Coto,  ASU’s Chairman 
At the 6th Food and Beverage International Mercosur Exhibition and 4th Argentine Supermarketing Meetings – ASU – there will be more than 550 Exhibitors from 11 countries, occupying  18,000 m2 fair-ground space; more than 24,000 Visitors – delegations from Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Canada, United States of America,  Peru, Venezuela, Haiti, Australia, Spain, Italy, Russia, United Kingdom,  The Netherlands, Ukraine, Syria, Algeria, China, and France are already registered,  and over 1,500 Business Rounds will be held.

Besides, series of first-rate conferences delivered by qualified international professionals, who will speak about Safety and Hygiene, Human Resources, Diminishing Returns, Marketing, Sector Tendencies and so on, will be organized by ASU.  There will also be an important panel of traders from prominent supermarket chains.  .
There is an International sector where countries like France (the country where SIAL was first held) The United States of America, Italy, Tunisia, Brazil,  Chile, Vietnam, China, Ecuador,  Uruguay, and Venezuela will be present and there is also a National sector where the Provinces of Buenos Aires, Chubut, Salta, Neuquen, Cordoba, Entre Rios, Santa Fe, San Juan, Catamarca and the Municipalities of Maipu (Province of Mendoza) and Junin (Province of Buenos Aires) will  be present, too.

SIAL MERCOSUR EXHIBITION is organized by EXPOSIUM America Latina (Latin American Exposium) a subsidiary company to the French EXPOSIUM Group, leader of Professional Exhibitions. SIAL MERCOSUR 2007 is supported by the Secretary General of the National Government; by the “ExportAR” Foundation and also by the Argentine Chamber of Commerce that will organize Meetings and Business Rounds. Other Institutions supporting this event are: SAGPYA, the Argentine Chamber of Exporters (CERA – Spanish acronym), PROCHILE,  and the Embassies of France, Spain, The United States of America, Italy, Brazil, Peru, Germany, and Ecuador.
