Promogift 2007: The promotional gift industry makes its last few preparations before the year 2007 edition of Promogift
IFEMA is making good progress in its preparations for the third edition of the Promotional Gift Trade Fair, PROMOGIFT 2007, to be staged between Monday 3rd and Wednesday 5th September 2007 at Feria de Madrid. On this occasion, the fair has put the dates on which it takes place back a few days, upon the industry's request. What is more, it will take place between a Monday and a Wednesday, instead of between a Wednesday and a Friday, as has been the case to date
This edition presents some excellent prospects, thanks to the loyalty of the exhibitors, who were highly satisfied with the results achieved at the last edition, as well as due to the extremely warm welcome the fair received in the trade media. In fact, the organisers expect to contract out a net exhibition area measuring around 10,000 square metres, which is to say, some 2,000 additional square metres compared to last year.
IFEMA has once again emphasised the importance of preparing for participation at the fair sufficiently in advance, especially with regard to all aspects relating to the pre-registration of visitors. In this respect, we must recall that PROMOGIFT is strictly a trade event, one that is devoted entirely to this economic segment, with access being reserved to those who are previously invited by the organisers and are able to provide due accreditation of their trade status.
Reed Exhibition Iberia will once again be entrusted with monitoring the visitors. This company sends the corresponding invitations to professionals and intermediaries working within the promotional and advertising gift segment, who must then provide the necessary accreditation in order to gain free access to the fair. Accreditation consists of providing a receipt of the Economic Activities Tax (I.A.E.) that potential participants have paid.

In effect, the fair's web page is an excellent tool, one that enables potential participants to find information about the fair and organise their attendance.
Furthermore, in view of the growing number of foreign visitors interested in attending the fair, PROMOGIFT will implement a Foreign Buyers Programme at this edition. The fair will invite buyers from abroad to attend the fair at Feria de Madrid, based on the suggestions made by the exhibitors themselves. In order to ensure the success of this forthcoming edition, which will allow participants to prepare for the Christmas campaign, PROMOGIFT will once again enjoy the support of the two leading business associations within the field, the Association of Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers of Promotional Items, AIMFAP, and the Association of Advertising Gift Manufacturers and Sellers, FYVAR.
The timetable at this third edition of the Promotional Gift Trade Fair, PROMOGIFT 2007, will be from 9.30 a.m. through to 7.30 p.m. on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th September, with the fair closing earlier at 4.00 p.m. on Wednesday 5th September.
