Matelec 2008: At Feria de Madrid, between 28th October and 1st November 2008
Matelec 08: The National Federation of Electrical and Telecommunications Installation Businessmen of Spain has played a key and prominent role at the International Exhibition of Electrical and Electronic Equipment for some twenty years. The Federation's traditional support for the fair, which mainly targets electrical and telecommunications installers, is reflected in its cooperation in organising Matelec's Specialised Conference Programme and its National Young Installers Competition. This event, which testifies to the solid training and qualifications that future professionals within the installation sector enjoy, will stage its tenth edition at Matelec '08.
The heads of the International Exhibition of Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Matelec'08, and the trade fair's organiser, Ifema, renewed the collaboration agreement that the fair maintains with FENIE, the National Federation of Electrical and Telecommunications Businessmen of Spain, last 19th May. This agreement, which was signed at Feria de Madrid, forms part of the process in which Matelec is renewing all of the agreements it maintains with the different trade associations present at the fair.
The Collaboration Agreement was signed at Ifema's facilities by the Managing Director of Ifema, Fermín Lucas, and the President of Fenie, Francisco Paramio, who were accompanied at the ceremony by the Federation's General Secretary, José Antonio González, and the Head of Matelec '08, Alfonso de Borbón.
This Framework Agreement will strengthen still further the collaboration that exists between the two organisations regarding the staging of the International Exhibition of Electrical and Electronic Equipment. We might also highlight the fact that Francisco Paramio, the President of Fenie, recently joined the Matelec Organising Committee as a member. In this respect, the President of the National Federation of Electrical and Telecommunications Installation Businessmen of Spain, has become a member of the fair's governing body, which features representatives from all the leading associations from the electrical material industry, as well as representatives from various manufacturing companies that operate within this sector.
