Italia for Events at Imex 2007
Italia for Events, the network grouping 17 Italian Regions, together with its partners ENIT (the Italian State Tourist Board) and Federcongressi (the federation of Italian conference and incentive associations), will be at IMEX (Frankfurt, Germany, 17-19 April 2007) in a 500 sqm. booth representing Italy’s highest quality event offer.
At IMEX, an elegantly designed 500 sq m stand, with a lounge bar and an authentic Italian feel, hosts 60 qualified representatives of Italy’s conference and incentive offering. The carefully selected exhibitors are sub-divided per type: conference centres; convention bureaux; conference hotels and stately homes; PCOs, DMCs, service contractors.
At IMEX, its priority is to ensure buyers are given a warm welcome and provided with all the information they require: at the stand visitors will be received by a team of professional hostesses who will direct them to the most suitable solutions for their needs and answer any queries.
For the buyers’ delegations, 15 in the three days of the IMEX fair, targeted and spectacular presentations have been prepared. Fast and lively, after a general introduction to Italia for Events’ offering, they will each involve one group of IFE exhibitors, chosen to illustrate the variety of destinations offered. The presentations are open to anyone interested, whether buyers or journalists. The daily bill of events is on display in the stand.
Visitors are also invited to take part in the life of the stand, which will include moments of entertainment and atmosphere: presentations of the various destinations, with a chance to savour some of their typical local products, a quality Italian wine tasting contest and animation. Because as well as promoting the professionalism of Italian operators and the country’s top facilities, Italia for Events wishes to convey the Italian spirit, so important for the success of an event. The essence of this spirit lies in that inimitable blend of folklore, art, tradition, good taste and hospitality in which Italy abounds.
