Horeq'07 presents Contract Vision, the first forum for the contract market in Europe

The Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Equipment Show, HOREQ'07, which is due to take place between 24th and 27th November next at Feria de Madrid, will present an important new feature at its next edition: the business forum known as CONTRACT VISION, which is aimed at the collective facilities market.

CONTRACT VISION will facilitate contact between the main operators within the channel, including prescribing parties and decision-makers (such as interior designers, project designers, architects, etc.), end customers (hotel owners, owners of restaurants, bars and tourist establishments, etc.) and equipment suppliers, manufacturers, importers and distributors of different products. The latter group will present their products and services in Hall 8 at HOREQ.

This attendance opens up a range of opportunities for commercial cooperation among companies that form part of the contract market in both Spain and abroad. Furthermore, through this new initiative, HOREQ will offer information and specialised training regarding business opportunities on the market, through the First  International Contract Forum, which will take place at the same time, contributing its own contacts and providing a complete overview of various competitive factors within the channel, not to mention access strategies and other aspects relating to the field.

HOREQ and its forum, CONTRACT VISION, will thus provide a veritable point of reference for this segment, becoming the first exhibition to develop the contract concept in Europe from an integral and innovative perspective.
The event will benefit groups such as manufacturers, importers and distributors of furniture, lighting products, textiles, decorative items, paving and surfacing products, bathroom equipment, spa equipment, gym equipment... as well as the users of these products: hotels, restaurants, convention centres, old people's homes and other collective concerns.
The contract market, which provides integral equipment for group facilities, is playing an increasingly important role within the hotel and catering industry and CONTRACT VISIÓN provides the ideal tool for developing this key segment. The contract market represents a means of diversification and differentiation for the equipment supplier, enabling him to supply products and services to group concerns. This market presents some excellent growth prospects and has attracted the interest of a large number of operators, who are increasingly making commercial development in this field a key part of their strategic planning.

.Coinciding Activities Regarding the Contract Market

Among the activities that will be staged to coincide with the Show, we might mention the FIRST INTERNATIONAL  CONTRACT FORUM, an event organised by the Business Association for Habitat Products, Their Internationalisation and the Contract Market,  UNEX and AIDIMA, the Technological Institute for Furniture, Wood, Packaging and Related Products. This Forum will be divided into four areas: a series of training conferences that will tackle a series of issues such as competitiveness factors; an exposition on the business experiences of a number of international companies taking part in the event, and, under a more practical heading, a series of meetings with prescribing parties, manufacturers and owners of different establishments, as well as a number of specialised visits to various facilities.

Furthermore, this edition of the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Equipment Show, HOREQ'07, we feature a number of important new features, such as the leading role accorded to technological innovation thanks to the collaboration of the Hotel Trade Technological Institute, ITH, consisting of a Technology Platform that will present all the latest new advances at the industry's disposal. We might also mention the staging of EATIN'OUT, the First International Foodservice Convention, organised by the Spanish Food and Drink Industry Federation, FIAB. This constitutes a new European event for this growing market.
