Key events for hosted buyers and visitors

GIBTM, taking place in Abu Dhabi from March 13th-15th March 2007, has announced the networking opportunities available as part of its event programme. GIBTM will ensure that its visitors and Hosted Buyers have the opportunity to participate in social and business networking events with exhibitors and sponsors both during the show and after hours.

An Icebreaker reception, open to Hosted Buyers and VIP guests, will be held on the evening prior to GIBTM at the newly renovated InterContinental Abu Dhabi, which will open its doors officially in April 2007. The reception will provide an exclusive first glimpse of the property from the comfort of the new Club Lounge.

The GIBTM Opening Night Welcome Reception on Tuesday 13th March, will be sponsored by ADNEC as a celebration of the new exhibition halls and a grand welcome to all Visitors, Exhibitors, Hosted and Trade Buyers as well as invited guests and is the first key networking opportunity.

On Wednesday 14th March, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) will sponsor a unique evening open to all Visitors, Exhibitors, Hosted and Trade Buyers as well as invited guests. Taking place at the Emirates Palace, one of Abu Dhabi’s finest meeting venues, ADTA will showcase Abu Dhabi’s cultural heritage, its past, present and inspire attendees with a glimpse of the future.
