Savon de Marseille’s ambitions Household linens? Hervé Delorme is an expert on the matter: “I was raised surrounded by weaving looms.” And for good reason. He is the son of Yves Delorme, the founder of the famous household linen brand

With stylist Rachel Huaulme-Maussion, this retail expert on the world of fabrics has just created Savon de Marseille. “It’s a magical, natural and authentic product that is noble and timeless. Products that are ‘Made in Provence’ have a high level of international recognition. It has become a reliable and reassuring value,” analyzes Hervé Delorme. The new brand is starting out with a collection of fifteen products, but it has great ambitions. The Savon de Marseille image is compatible with the world of the bed, the kitchen or children’s rooms. New collections are already being prepared to create an overarching concept for the home. And the two founders foresee creating a concept store in the city in the next two years, by joining up with a soap manufacturer to create their own line. “The project will come to fruition in 2008 and everything will come full circle.”
