The Slovenian Convention Bureau is a body set up in 2004 to promote and market Slovenia as a meeting and incentive destination and to attract meetings business to the country.

This non-profit organization is a useful source of expert and objective information on destinations, meeting venues and services. The Slovenian Convention Bureau acts as a professional intermediary between meeting planners and suppliers, assisting organizers to select the most appropriate solution for their event.

The 57 members include convention centres, hotels, special venues, PCO's and DMC's, the Ljubljana Convention Bureau and other service providers. Slovenian Tourist Board is its strategic partner.

The Slovenian Convention Bureau attends EIBTM for more than 10 years and it is the prime show in Europe for meetings and incentives. This year Slovenia is presenting itself with new slogan: I feel Slovenia and in new colours so called "Slovenian green" which means balance between the tranquility of nature and ambitious people of Slovenia. At the Slovenian stand there will be 18 exhibitor including the Slovenian Convention Bureau covering representing congress center, hotels, PCO'S, DMC'S, Incentive and teambuilding providers.

The objective of Slovenian Convention Bureau at EIBTM is to establish 200 contacts with buyers and further enhance the image of Slovenia as a meeting destination.
