The Mena family began their small handcrafted leather goods workshop in Granada back in the early days of the 20th century.
In 1967, Francisco Mena produced the first bags under the MENBUR trademark; however, the company really started to take off in the 90s, becoming one of the European reference points in the ceremonial accessories and footwear sector, with articles created for those special moments. Our creations undergo the strictest quality standards and controls. We take inspiration from the latest trends and the needs of the modern woman, who seeks to highlight her beauty and personality. We blend fantasy with elegance and femininity, turning each model into an exclusively-designed article for all kinds of special occasions, from the most casual to the most formal. Nights in shiny satin, embroidery, strass, diamante details and huge crystals set into the article; evenings of serene glamour... The MENBUR range is extensive, with over 180 models of shoes and 450 bags per season. Every season, MENBUR presents its own collections of matching bags and shoes at the most important international trade fairs in the sector. Year by year, MENBUR is making a name for itself in the main European markets. Looking ahead to the future, the company plans to continue expanding its product ranges and to strengthen its own distribution network, whether through the MENBUR stores, or through new franchising concepts, such as corners or shop-in-shop. The spirit and professionalism of the MENBUR team is at the heart of its success. MENBUR currently has over 80 people working in its administration, technical and design departments, not to mention its extensive network of sales representatives.
