Each design is carefully drawn, sculpted and created by the founder of the brand Joseph Azagury. Following his studies at London's Cordwainers College, Joseph Azagury consolidated his design expertise working in Spain, Italy and the USA. His single aim in setting up his own label in 1990 was to make beautiful shoes, allowing women to enjoy elegant, feminine footwear.

The Joseph Azagury business was originally run from the Knightsbridge salon of well-known couturier brother Jacques Azagury. The business soon outgrew such hospitality, and the company opened its own doors at 73 Knightsbridge in 1990. The label has grown more and more succesful over the years. These days the Azagury family name is synonymous with fashion, style and luxury.
