Intermas was incorporated in 1957, when Josep Mas Jordà set up the factory in Cardedeu (Vallés Oriental, Barcelona) as 'el plástico'. The company started as an injection workshop, although very soon it was heading towards a bright future in which the name it had chosen would be recognised, by customers and competitors from all over the world as a brand name that had earned its prestige thanks to the quality of both its processes and products. Mr Mas was inspired to move forward on the basis of hard work, intelligence and an unquestionable sense of ethics - a formula which ultimately produced excellent results. Very soon, the company was investing in new technologies, such as those for orienting, weaving and laminating plastic materials. The Intermas Group has always been firmly commitment to research, development and innovation as the basis for its development as a business. Since its beginnings, the company has developed its own technologies and processes.
