We are proud to inform you that Goliath has a rich history. It dates back all the way to 1937. One sunny day in 1925, Sir van Amelsvoort from Tilburg, the Netherlands, decides to open a sports shoefactory in his town. He wanted to provide excellent sports shoes for the people in his town. A lot of Dutch people played soccer for fun to pass their winter days and cricket to pass their springs and their summers. Back then, these sports were purely a form of relaxation for the dutch people. Nonetheless quality was standardized. Because Sir van Amelsvoort’s sports shoefactory was a combination of craftsmanship, passion and quality, his shoes became a big succes. In the days of the rising economy, These days the Goliath team is enthousiastic to follow the footsteps of the old Sir van Amelsvoort. They adore sports and fashion, so they created an area for Goliath where sports and fashion come together. The Goliath collection celebrates the fusion of style and fuction.
