Today BONFANTI BORSE is an important company heading confidently towards the Year 2000.

Since 1945, almost 50 years have passed, from the time that Ermogene Bonfanti started producing, from a large room next to his mother’s house, the first bags which were suspended from bicycle crossbars.

In the 50’s the Company consolidated its position, the number of machines increased and the products were diversified. During the economic boom of the 60’s, the company started a new era, as two of the founder’s sons joined the company giving it a new boost.

In 1965 the company became BONFANTI BROTHERS and set out to capture the most important European markets. In 1982 it took the present name of BONFANTI BORSE. The way was long but nowadays everything is modernised, bigger and more efficient; the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of its founder are still present. Those qualities merge well with product quality, flexibility, fast production and competitive prices.

Recently the third generation entered the company to guarantee a future of success based on the legacy from the past
