Bodegas Torres del Veguer is an antique winery located in Pere de Ribes, Barcelona. It specializes in the production of wines from 2 well defined regions depending on the quality of its soil and weather.

The winery produces white, rose and red wines such as:

Red wine - Raïms de la Immortalitat.
Rose wine - Torre del Veguer Merlot.
White wine - Torre del Veguer Muscat.
White wine - Torre del Veguer Sauvignon Blanc.

Its production is based on grapes cultivated in its own vineyards; the winery owns 70 hectares located in two different places.

Garraf Vineyard: it is a limestone region with Mediterranean, dry and sunny weather and an excellent maturity fruits.

The cultivated grape varieties include: Muscat de Frontignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Xarel.lo and Cariñena.

Alt Penedes Vineyards: this is higher altitude region with cold and rainy weather and poor lands due to its clayish and stony composition.

The grapes cultivates are Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir because these type of grapes easily adapt to the rigorous climate conditions.

For the above reason fruits mature in slower pace which increases the wines’ acidity, color and aroma.

It is worth mentioning that Torrre del Veguer winery has been built upon a fortress from 1359 which has been remodeled several times from its origins. .

Torre del Veguer’s building has been appointed historic-artistic building by the Authorities of Catalonia.

The former winery which started its activity in 1898 was remodeled in 1990 and is equipped with the most developed technologies in order to produce high quality wines.

The first production of the winery's modern era was in 1995.
It can be said that the quality of its wines comes from the old days given that the first gold medal was obtained in 1898 and as from 2000 they started to harvest medals, national and international acknowledgments again.
