In the winter of 2007, Baby Phat selected the `From Russia With Love` theme as its source of inspiration and also integrated Japanese influences in the design. The colours of the winter include inky darks & jewel tones, rich earth tones. Moreover, the winter colour palette will bring gold and silver with metallic shining or in the form of Lurex threads. Grey is also present in a variety of shades. A great selection of gorgeous materials and patterns makes the collection versatile and multi-faceted. This includes among other things Menswear plaid patterns, pinstripe and fishbone patterns. The materials used include
tweed and other fabrics with a charming shine, such as satin or smooth velvet.
The collection`s glamorous je-nesais- quoi is furthermore intensified by the use of fake fur in leopard and mink look. Likewise, the very particular look of the collection is deepened by brocade and goblin, chiffon and corduroy. This look is even upgraded to another level owing to the huge variety of graphics and prints.
