Broke was developed in Treviso, in far-off 94, from an idea of Stefano Iezzi and Alessandro Bado, at the time they were friends, little more twenty years old. They decided to create graphics to print on T-shirts which expressed a mixture of styles picked up through years of experience in various ambits, Iezzi in graphics and the punk rock scene, Bado in the field of fashion and Hip-Hop/Hard Core music (note: Alessandro Bado played for ten years with the band Istinti Animali). They then decided to print the T-shirts ourselves with the help of Enrico Saggia, who had opened a small artisan silk-screen printers. During these nine years Broke has been obliged to take the step, from pure poetry to being a company, employing workers, and having to respect sales turnovers, and above all rules. The best gift of all, for us, is seeing how a dream can become reality and how a product, able to transmit credibility and belonging, developed by chance from a game .
