Aruba в EIBTM 2007

Aruba “The happy Island”, will be present at EIBTM 2007.

Aruba Island is called “The happy Island” and this has to do with the personality of its inhabitants who are warm, friendly and welcoming with the visitors.

Aruba is different from the rest of the Caribbean, due to the contrast of its incredible blue waters with the internal rocky formations, abandoned caves and mines. This island is a treasure to be discovered, a paradise with many options to its visitors.

Its economy is nowadays mainly related to the tourism industry, which represents 35% of GDP due to the oil and gas refinery which left the country in 1985. In 1986 Aruba became separated from Netherlands Antilles as a first time to achieve its total independence in 1996.

Aruba’s extension makes it a perfect place to comfortably move around from the coast to the interior in just a few minutes and with varied options in both.

It has a mild weather with average 28°C and a delicate breeze which refreshes the environment, thus creating a perfect place.

From the very beginning, the visitor is surprised by the modern airport, with an European flavor, tidy, comfortable, cheery with options for every wish, shops, lively center streets, small markets, restaurants, luxurious hotel facilities and a stunning nature waiting for visitors to enjoy it.

European citizens do not need to require a visa to enter into the island.
Neither vaccines of any kind are required.

Aruba has a modern international airport with many airlines operating flights from and to the island and also providing advantageous connections.
Once the visitor is in Aruba, it is very simple to move around due to island’s reduced dimension. In addition to taxi transfers, it is possible to use the bus system since it is very efficient and accessible. The bus covers the way from the bus main station located in the Oranjestad center to the hotels avenue. It is also possible to tour in luxury buses which pick up visitors at their hotel.

In order to explore the island, there exists the possibility of renting vehicles, motorcycles and all terrain vehicles. Eagle Jeep Tours provides customers with the possibility of making a safari with or without driver through the “savage side” of Aruba

National and International Car rental companies operate in the island. The most important agencies have offices at the airport and in some of the hotels. The visitor should be over 24 years old and hold a driving license no matter the issuing country.

That´s why Aruba is a perfect choice for conferences, congresses and incentive tourism.
